What is the long distance support?
​
The Long Distance Adoption, also called long distance support, is a concrete action of solidarity in support of children of the poorest countries and their families. Children have access to a food support scheme and medical care and can receive an education, without having to leave their families and countries.
With a small monthly contribution, families are able to take care of their children.
Those who support this program can interact with the children with letters and photos and will always be informed about the children progresses.
The child is supported until he/she needs it. In the eventuality in which he/she has become independent, the adoptive family is informed on time and it is offered the opportunity of carrying on the project with another child.
The Long Distance Adoption is not a binding contract, therefore, it is possible to withdraw from the program at any given moment by written email.
What does the child receive?
With 5 € per month:

A child can have one hot meal per day in one of our canteens.

With 25 € per year:
​
A child can go to school. The donation covers the school tuition fees and the school supplies.
​
With 250 € per year:
​
A child has medical care, a school education and a hot meal per day in one of our canteens.
Which children can make use of the long distance support?
All children who are part of the projects we sponsor can be part of the long distance support.
Can the donation amount be detracted?
In Italy, if you keep a copy of the payment you will write off the expenses on your taxes.
I wish to support one of the Need You Onlus projects.
How can I do it?
Is it possible to support any ongoing projects of the association. It is only required to state the preference when you contact us. We keep a record with photos and a written report of each contribution that we proudly show to the contributor.

You can partecipate to our projects, both on the Italian ground and abroad. You only have to contact us via email: info@needyou.it

Donation of Supply
Need You Onlus only accepts new supplies that we send to the centres that need them the most. We keep track of every shipment and we record it with photos and a written report that we show to each contributor.
